Book Launch Party and Styling Workshop
This past month was a full blown dream. I’m not trying to be dramatic, it’s just… sometimes you set out to have goals for yourself and things fall through and they aren’t what you expect. Or then sometimes the complete opposite happens and you are just blown away by the fact that this is your life. I’m so grateful and humbled by the response to The Confident Closet since it’s been on Amazon. I couldn’t be more excited to see what’s next. So in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, let’s back up a bit shall we?
The Confident Closet is now available on Amazon for purchase and the 5 star reviews are coming in! It’s been so cool to see people reacting to the book and the message of feeling your most confident through your clothes. It’s also the sweetest thing to get screenshots of you when you receive your book, so please keep those coming! I’ve been getting daily DMs of you guys with your books and it literally makes my day! If you’d like to learn more about the book, you can head here.
After the book was released we found out that it became a number 1 best seller in several categories on Amazon taking an already incredible accomplishment and multiplying it. That was just the absolute icing on the cake. Like I said, this has been an absolute dream.
I knew that our styling workshop and book launch party with Amy Kuschel was going to be fun but it was SO beyond what I imagined. The energy in the room was so fabulous and everyone kept telling me how inspired they were to go home and clean out their closet. I mean, the best. There was also a lot of support in the room from friends and family and to say that meant a lot would be an understatement. Big shout out to my hubby who helped set up the party, rang up all the books, made sure I stayed calm. and is such a good shmoozer. This may not be the most professional part of this post, but sometimes you gotta shout out to the hubs. Ya know?
Amy not only brought in figs from her own fig tree, but she made an almond cake because she is a super woman. I’m not sure how she managed to run a business, host this party, and bake but she did it. It was such a blast to talk about how to style Amy’s pieces for Fall since the pieces are beyond flattering and high quality. Below is the way I styled The Ritz three different ways. We talked about layers, Fall colors, how to not be stuck in a rut with your clothes, and so much more.
It’s been such a whirlwind and it’s truly just the beginning of what’s in store. I’ll be sure to keep you posted on more events in the future and make sure you are on the mailing list (sign up here) and following along on social!
